Overview
The JLPT N1 course is designed for learners who have completed JLPT N2 or have equivalent Japanese ability. It focuses on mastering advanced grammar, academic and professional vocabulary, and highly complex reading and listening comprehension. This level proves full functional proficiency in Japanese and is widely accepted for university admission and professional work in Japan.

Course Structure
Our JLPT N1 – Business Japanese Course course is structured to provide comprehensive coverage of all exam sections.
Requirements
- JLPT N2 level knowledge or equivalent
- Notebook & pen for writing practice
- Japanese keyboard setup
- Dedicate 12–15 hours per week for study & revision
- Commitment to advanced reading & listening practice
Instructions
- Attend live sessions or recordings if missed
- Revise Sou Matome N1 units consistently
- Daily kanji & vocabulary memorization (~10,000+ target)
- Attempt regular N1 mock tests
- Engage in academic/professional discussion practice

- High-level conditionals and concessive forms (〜ものの, 〜にもかかわらず, 〜ながらも)
- Nuanced speculation and inference (〜に違いない, 〜に相違ない, 〜に決まっている)
- Emphasis and contrast (〜ことだ, 〜にすぎない, 〜ざるを得ない)
- Complex connectors (〜一方, 〜のみならず, 〜に加えて)
- Academic and formal expressions (〜である, 〜にほかならない, 〜に基づいて)
- Abstract and literary expressions (〜に至るまで, 〜に際して, 〜に先立って)
- ~10,000 words (politics, economics, academia, literature, society)
- ~2,000 kanji (newspaper/editorial level; professional and academic kanji)
- Long passages: academic texts, reports, critiques, literature extracts
- Identifying author’s opinion, argument structure, and implied meaning
- Reading comprehension for abstract, logical, and inferential content
- Speed reading strategies for JLPT N1
- Lectures, debates, discussions, news broadcasts
