Eligibility 

Before you dream about slicing sushi in Tokyo or learning from Japan’s top chefs, make sure you meet these criteria:

➡️ Nationality :- You must be a non-Japanese citizen.

➡️ Age Limit :- You should be between 18 and 35 years old at the time the program begins.

➡️ Culinary Background :-

    • You must be a culinary school graduate or have hands-on cooking experience in a Japanese restaurant.
    • Bonus points if you’ve worked at a “Japanese Food and Ingredient Supporter Store Overseas”. (Check if your workplace is listed here)

➡️ Language Skills :- You should be able to speak, read, and write in English or Japanese at a conversational level or higher.

➡️ Passion for Japanese Food :- A strong interest in Japanese cuisine and dietary culture is essential!

➡️ Fitness & Commitment :-

    • You must be physically fit to attend training and hands-on sessions.
    • You should also be willing to serve as an ambassador of Japanese food culture after the program ends.

➡️ Tech Ready :- A stable internet connection is required for participating in online training sessions.

➡️ Travel Ready :- You must be able to travel to Japan and stay as per the program schedule.

➡️ Cover Extras :- While the program covers major expenses, you should be ready to handle any personal costs not included.

➡️ Post-Program Commitment :-

    • You should aim to increase your use or purchase of Japanese food products by at least 30% within 2 years.
    • host a Japanese cuisine seminar at your workplace after returning.

Japanese language skills are NOT mandatory! (Translation support is provided.)

    • 11 e-learning sessions (Bronze Certification aligned)

    • Mandatory report submission

🔹 Online Exams :- Nov 25 – 28, 2025.

    • Written and practical evaluations

🔹 Result Notification :- By Dec 5, 2025,  Online Japanese Lessons –  Early Dec 2025 – Early Jan 2026,  Arrival in Japan – Jan 12, 2026

🔹 In-Person Training :- Jan 13 – Feb 20, 2026.

    • Culinary lectures, site visits
