Introduction
Have you ever dreamt of living in Japan, immersing yourself in the culture, and making a genuine difference in the lives of students? The JET Programme (Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme) offers exactly that opportunity.
It is a massive, highly respected initiative by the Japanese government that invites young people from around the world to participate in international exchange and foreign language education in Japan. It’s the ultimate opportunity for cultural immersion.
The most common role is the Assistant Language Teacher (ALT), and this guide will help you master the application, understand the role, and know what to expect.
