Here’s What’s Included

✅ Monthly Stipend :- ¥50,000 disbursed four times per academic year.
✅ Duration :-

Undergraduate – up to 3 years
Master’s – up to 2 years
PhD – up to 3 years

✅ Available from April 2026, aligning with the Japanese academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

🔹 Privately financed international students enrolled in a full-time degree program (undergrad/grad/doctoral) in Japan.

🔹 Must hold a Student (ryūgaku) visa.

🔹 Must not be receiving another scholarship in 2026.

🔹 Eligibility by nationality includes India, as well as 20+ other Asian and regional countries.

🔹 Age Limits (as of March 31, 2026):

• Undergraduates ≤ 25 years
• Master’s ≤ 30 years
• PhD ≤ 35 years 

Important Dates & Deadlines

🔹 For Tokushima University (Josanjima campus): Submission by August 29, 2025 via International Affairs Division

🔹 For others: Application window from June 2 – September 30, 2025.

Applying for the Fujii Scholarship depends on the university you’re enrolled in. Since this is not a direct application from the foundation itself, here’s what you need to do:

If You’re Applying to Tokushima University:

Each university has its own scholarship office that handles nominations for the Fujii Scholarship. You won’t find a central application form on the Fujii Foundation’s website. So:

✅ Look under the Scholarships for International Students section
✅ Reach out to the university’s scholarship office if the Fujii Scholarship isn’t listed yet

📌 No Direct Form

You can’t apply directly to the Fujii Foundation. Applications must go through your university.

💡 Apply early—universities may have their own deadlines before forwarding nominations.
